| Answers: Getting induced in 2 days & very scared!!? I am 40 weeks and 5 days pregnant today, and I have an appointment in 2 days to get induced. I'm pretty scared because my doc said there's a higher risk in c-sections when being induced & labors can b longer and what not.. She said though that she dosn't think i will need a c-section because my cervix is very soft and 3cm dilated already and my body is ready for labor im 80% effaced and VERY thinned out. She said she thinks it will take very well for me. I trust my doctor but im still VERY scared and worried to get induced.. The only good part about it is that my scheduled date to get induced is also my birthday too, and it'd be really special for me & my baby to share the same birthday. I was due last Saturday and people are joking that she's waiting 2 be my birthday present. Then it just happend to be the day i was scheduled to be induced.. Should I take this as a blessing, or do I actually have something to worry about? I plan on getting an epidural for pain, this is my first baby. |
