| Yahoo! Answers: Athetitties, if magic and miracles don't exist then how do you e Two boys were on a Christian camping trip when they got lost in the woods. They didn't know where to go so the oldest boy prayed and prayed, and felt like he should go in a certain direction. So, they ran and ran for a while until the younger one fell on a stick that pierced his abdomen. The younger boy could not run, so the older boy prayed and prayed, and felt he should go in a certain direction. So, he ran and ran until he came to a river which meant they had been going in the wrong direction the whole time, but thank the Lord, he spotted two kyakers that turned out to be doctors! The doctors, without any medical equipment, followed the older boy to the injured boy and found that he had bled to death internally. Later both the older boy and the dead boy were airlifted out of the forest. |

| It is really sad to hear that news of death of that boy in the forest. I believe in miracles and other things related to that matter. I am a full Christian and I know how hard it is to some people to relate in this matter, but with the faith they have in the lord, anything would be possible in the end, it is a matter of fate only. |
| I am not going to join a debate as to whether miracles exist or not, because that is an entirely personal choice and there is no changing someone's mind about that unless that someone goes through an experience that will change it. I only know that I believe miracles and prayer are real and work, and that my life is a lot more meaningful because of that believe. Without it, my life would not make sense. As Einstein said, You can live your life as though every where a miracle or as though nothing was. |
| Well, I am an Atheist and from a perspective of a "non-believer" of divinity. This story alone proves, or rather disproves the existence of a divine being. If there is even such then why didn't he or rather "He" helped that innocent devoted boy from impending death? Don't give me that saying that it is His will, then all the unnecessary murders and crime happening today is His will, then that isn't so assuring at all to believe in something that allows you to die or met a horrible fate. This is my stand and what I believe. Continue on with yours. |
| When we acquire a severe disease at times we just utter that only miracles can save us. Aside from that, there's already hi-tech medical equipment that can prolong life or that can help a patient overcome illness. Well this is really something we should be thankful for because there are already better ways to survive from the diseases or sickness that might infect us. Thank you and great day to all. |
