| Answers: Jaw, neck and head pain? For the past seven to eight months, I've been getting migraines, ear noise, neck pain, and severe jaw pain. I have no insurance so I went to the local medical care center, where they focused more on the headache, and prescribed me muscle relaxers, in order to relax my neck and maybe stop the headaches. Not working. My pharmacist suggested that maybe it's TMJ, and I should go to the dentist instead. I've been in awful, uncontrollable pain, and with my lack of insurance, I need some help and fast, I haven't got the money for numerous follow ups. If I go to the dentist, will he prescribe me something? I can't take anymore aleve, ibuprofen or tylenol. My stomach is burning constantly because I'm taking so many. Any help would be appreciated. I want to be a good worker and supermom again. I can't even do my schoolwork for college, and my life is at a standstill. I need to pay my money to someone who will take me seriously, not some generic clinic. Please advise, and thanks in advance. What the hell? What is it, National Spammers Day? Thanks so much. Thank you Linda. I tried making an appointment at the dentist, they couldn't get me in till the end of AUGUST. Aaah. I'll try your advice as well... somethings gotta give. I'm so scared to ask them for anything for fear of looking like a pill popping junkie. I hope you continue to feel well. :) |
