Are medical boots a good way to heal a foot injury? I hurt my ankle a month ago and it still hurts. I thought it was just a sprain and have been wearing an ankle brace and staying off my feet as much as possible. But I work retail and on my feet 6 hours --3x a week. It is not healing. I have no insurance and not enough $ to see a Dr. I think I can afford a medical boot-do these help ? Now I suspect that I have a stress fracture and not just a sprain/strain.
