| Questions: My asthma has gotten progressively worse the past two years, can anyo I am 15 years old and have athletic induced asthma along with allergies. I take Symbicort as my daily inhaler, ProAir as my athletic rescue inhaler, and claritin for allergies. Every time I do something athletic, i have to take my rescue inhaler before, during, and sometimes after to relieve my symptoms. My doctor said that this was unusual but has not done anything about it. I am getting really frustrated and depressed about my asthma because it has been getting worse instead of better. Can anyone offer suggestions on different medications that i could take, or any natural supplements?(i take fish oil pills because i read somewhere that they help reduce inflammation in asthma) Also, are there any medical procedures that help with asthma? Any other suggestions would help. |
