Air Force medical requirements for pilots? - Medical Specialists
| Air Force medical requirements for pilots? I understand that you cannot have asthma after age 12 if you plan on joining the Air Force let alone become a pilot. When I was younger I had exercise induced bronchitis and had an Albuterol inhaler on standby most of the time. I think I grew out of it and was never "rediagnosed" after the age of 12, but my family and I always kept my prescription filled. I went to an Asthma specialist the other day and no longer have it. Does this disqualify me? also What is the waiver process? what waivers can be used for prospective pilots? |
