| Questions: clinical pathology major? i am currently seeking a career in medical technology/laboratory science. i have always been intrigued with health, and diseases. i was wondering, if anyone knows what type of training is required to become a clinical pathologist? i assume that you must take undergraduate courses in biology/chemistry (meet requirements for med school) then be accepted to med school, but what do i take there? and how long do i go for this major? is it two years, four years, or more of additional schooling? and what about internships? any info would be greatly appreciated... thank you! |
| As far as I know being a clinical pathologist requires hard work and dedication to the work. The task to diagnose diseases through laboratory is so critical. So, I think it is a big challenge for you to take clinical pathology major. There's a lot of things you need to undergo to proceed with this major. Actually it depends on the curriculum of the school that you need to check. You could probably inquire further in some schools that offer such major. |
| Pathology is really a wide area to be concern with. I really love to know that area. I am currently, a medical student having this specialty, in studying bacterias and other organisms that are concern in creating illnesses and diseases for people. I hope, I can invent any cure for some diseases n town someday. I am in great research with accordance to the sickness we have in town right now. |
