Occupational Therapist Assistant with Bachelors in OT? I'm aware that all you need is an Associate's degree to become an occupational therapist assistant. But there are no OTA programs in my area. However, there is a BS/MS program for Occupational Therapy close by. Can I use the Bachlors degree in OT to become a Occupational Therapist Assistant? I'm worried it will only prepare me to become an OT rather than teach me the skills to be an assistant. Will the bachelors degree qualify me to take the test to become certified as an OTA?
