Questions: I'm 16 & I have a vein popping out behind my knee?

Thank author of this post/commentWouldn't you think I'm a little too young to be having a vein pop out of my leg at 16? I don't even understand why i have this. I exercise regularly, if not more than need because I'm involved in tennis, dance, and volleyball throughout the year and would like to think i have a balanced diet. It doesn't cause me any pain but I'm embarrassed to wear anything above the knees because it's visible. Is there any way to get rid of it without surgical procedures? :/
